What is in the free digest?
Every new EU public tender in your product category from the past seven days, read in its original language and summarised in English: buyer, country, what is being bought, estimated value, deadline and a competition rating for that country. The 25 largest tenders arrive as full cards, the rest as one-line entries, so nothing is left out. One email, every Monday.
How does Pro decide which tenders fit us?
We build a profile from what you sell: product keywords, CPV codes, value range and the countries you serve. Every new notice is scored against it the day it is published. A match in the title weighs more than one buried in the description, and a tender filed under a generic code still reaches you when the text describes your product, whether it is written in Polish, Czech or Portuguese. AI reads every notice in all 24 EU languages and a person checks what we send.
How do you judge competition?
We analyse twelve months of EU award notices for lab and precision instruments, country by country, counting only open competitions and leaving direct awards out. If 60% or more of similar lots in a country drew a single bid, the tender is marked low competition; 45 to 59% is medium; below that, high. It shows where a bid has the best odds before you spend time on it.
What is a direct-award warning?
Some contracts go to one supplier without a tender. EU rules require buyers to announce many of them in advance with a voluntary ex-ante transparency notice (VEAT), which opens a short window, often ten days, before the contract can be signed. Pro flags these notices the day they appear, so you can ask to be considered or challenge the award while there is still time. Over the past twelve months there were more than 700 such notices for lab instruments.
What happens to my email address?
